Business Online Banking with BillPay
- Getting Your Login Credentials: You will immediately receive the Business Online Banking with BillPay terms and agreement via email when you enroll in Business Online Banking with BillPay at account opening. Once you accept the agreement, you'll receive 2 consecutive emails, the first with your organization ID and administrator's user ID, followed by an email with the administrator's temporary password.
- Your First Successful Login: Once you receive your organization ID, user ID, and password, log-in to your account. You'll then be ready to view your accounts, transfer funds, pay bills, and set up other user accounts for your support staff.
- Signing Into Business Online Banking with BillPay: Sign into Business Online Banking with BillPay. You can also access your account through the "Access Your Accounts" selection box found at the top of the right-hand column on all pages on Sovereign's Website. Your organization or corporate IDs may be different for each of Sovereign's online services.
- Enrolling In BillPay, Setting Up Your First Payee: Designed especially for businesses, Business BillPay offers all the capabilities and comfort of traditional bill payment, but with online speed and convenience.
Enrolling In eStatements and Alerts
If you enrolled in eStatements and email balance alerts when you opened your Business Checking account, you'll receive access information via email:
- You'll be prompted to select a password to open the password-protected statement file.
If you enrolled in eStatements through Sovereignbank.com, you'll receive your company ID and user ID via email, followed by your eStatements password separately. To retrieve your eStatements, sign into the eStatements service. Note that your company ID, user ID, and password can be different than your Business Online Banking ID.
Not enrolled in eStatements or Alerts? You can enroll by calling our Business Contact Center at 877-768-1145 during the week from 8 a.m.—6 p.m. ET and Saturday 8 a.m.—5 p.m. ET. or by visiting your local branch. Wire Transfer alerts are also available.

Business Online Banking with BillPay can also offer you optional Wire and Automated Clearing House (ACH) services. Personal Online Banking with BillPay
- Getting Your Login Credentials: If you enrolled in Personal Online Banking when you opened your Business and Personal Checking accounts together, you'll be mailed your Online Banking agreement and temporary user ID within a week, and your temporary password the day after.
- Your First Successful Login: Once you receive your temporary user ID and password in the mail, you can sign in to Online Banking to set up your permanent user ID and password. You'll then be ready to view your accounts, transfer funds, and pay bills.
- Enrolling In BillPay, Setting Up Your First Payee: Business owners can pay their bills using either their personal or business checking account(s). BillPay lets you pay almost anyone with a standard U.S. postal address. It's easy to use and makes managing and paying your bills simple and convenient — and it's free.
- Signing Into Online Banking: Sign into Personal Online Banking. You can also access your account through the "Access Your Accounts" selection box found at the top of the right-hand column on all pages on Sovereign's Website.
